What about natural disasters? Is it ok to kill us intermittently just not ALL flesh at one time? Is it not reasonable to even save us from our own misgivings if you argue building in low-lying areas and faulty levies?

An estimated 1 million people die as the result of flooding, when the Chinese Yellow River bursts its banks

More than 2000 deaths as dam bursts in Pennsylvania, causing Johnstown flood

Flooding in China killed 3.7 million people

1946

Tsunami with waves reaching over 30 feet hit Hilo, Hawaii, causing widespread floods and 159 deaths

1971

100,000 killed in Vietnamese floods

1993

Great Midwest Flood in Mississippi region of US caused 18 billion dollars worth of damages

Millions disrupted by extreme flooding in Vietnam and Cambodia

Severe flooding in Mozambique and Southeast Africa

 

Not to forget tsunamis and hurricanes that also cause flooding like:

Genesis 6:7

And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.

It appears that we got off to a wonderful creator to created relationship. Acknowledge my existence as your creator or I shall destroy you! Is this the beginning of the God fearing nation?

Some religions assume that God, who they say is the greatest possible being that can be imagined, with intent to do so, created all things. If this premise is true would that make him all powerful and furthermore responsible for those creations? If creationist are correct their own theory will lead to why God is not involved in our lives or at least take us to the creationist’s inflicted assumption that a God is supposed to be involved in the lives of what it created.

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
